Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973

The Rocky Point Union Free School District, Rocky Point, New York, hereby gives notice that it does not discriminate on the basis of handicap in violation of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  The District further gives notice that it does not discriminate on the basis of handicap in admission or access to its programs and activities, including vocational education programs.  No person shall be denied employment solely because of any physical, mental or medical impairment, which is unrelated to the person’s ability to engage in the activities involved in the job for which application has been made.
